First let me start by saying that my heart goes out to all of those affected by the horrific attack that took place in Boston today. Whether the attacker was foreign born or domestic, the attack can only be construed as an act of terror.
That being said, it makes me sick that so many are already taking what happened today as an opportunity to spin this into a political issue.
Linda Ginsburg, a notorious left wing commentator was amongst the first to jump on the opportunity. "“I’ll bet good money it’s a right-wing nutjob. Today is April 15, Boston
Harbor was where the original Tea Party took place and the on-going
gun-safety legislation makes it the mostly likely culprit”Ginsburg wrote.
Regardless of what side of the fence you are on politically, now is not the time to spin these horrific events to the benefit of the left or the right.
Perhaps today is about just being human.
